Who we are

DSAlove is operated by Ananthapadmanabha K J N, an individual developer based in India (“we”, “us”). For anything in this policy, contact [email protected].

What this covers

This policy covers the DSAlove website (including the waitlist) and the DSAlove Android app. The short version: we collect what the product needs to teach you and to get better at teaching, we don’t run ads or sell data, and you can delete everything.

What we collect

• Waitlist: your email address, stored with our hosting provider (Cloudflare).
• Account: your email address and authentication data, managed by Supabase.
• Learning data: your conversations with the mentor, the code you write, quiz and review answers, problem attempts, and the per-pattern mastery and scheduling state the engine keeps about you. This is the product — a learning engine cannot work without it.
• Website analytics: aggregate, cookieless statistics via Cloudflare Web Analytics. No advertising trackers, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting.

How we use it

• To run the service: teach you, track your progress, schedule your reviews.
• To improve how the system teaches. Your sessions — conversations joined to later outcomes — are stored as traces in our observability store (Langfuse) and used to evaluate and improve the engine. You consent to this at onboarding, inside the app.
• To respond when you contact us.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than running and improving DSAlove.

AI processing

Mentor responses are generated by third-party large language models (routed through OpenRouter). Your messages and code are sent to those providers to produce responses. Code you submit is executed by a code execution service (OneCompiler). These payloads travel under a pseudonymous user ID — not your name or email.

Where your data lives

Account and learning data are stored with Supabase (Seoul, South Korea). Session traces are stored with Langfuse Cloud (Japan). The website and waitlist run on Cloudflare’s global network. Model providers process requests in their own regions, primarily the United States. By using DSAlove you understand your data crosses borders to these processors.

How long we keep it

• Account and learning data: for as long as your account exists.
• Session traces: for as long as your account exists, as improvement signal for the engine.
• After deletion: when you delete your account, your personal data and your traces are deleted. We may retain de-identified, aggregated datasets that no longer point back to you.
• Waitlist emails: until you get access, or removed on request.

Deleting your data

In the app: Settings → Delete account. Or email [email protected] from your registered address. Details are on our deletion page.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU GDPR and India’s DPDP Act), you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Email [email protected] and we will honor these rights for everyone, regardless of jurisdiction.

Age

DSAlove is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we’ll note it here with a new effective date and tell active users in the app.
