Terms of Service

The service

DSAlove is a learning service for data structures and algorithms, operated by Ananthapadmanabha K J N, an individual developer based in India. You learn through conversation with an AI mentor while a learning engine tracks and schedules your progress. By creating an account or joining the waitlist, you agree to these terms.

Cohort 1

Access is currently limited to a closed cohort. The engine is being validated on this cohort: features will change, sessions inform how we improve the system (see the Privacy Policy), and access may be granted, paused, or revoked at our discretion while the service is in this phase. Cohort 1 access is free of charge; if paid plans are ever introduced, we will say so clearly before charging anyone.

Your account

• You must be 18 or older.
• One account per person; keep your credentials to yourself.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

• Don’t abuse, overload, or attempt to break the service.
• Don’t scrape, extract, or redistribute the problem bank, prompts, or other service content.
• Don’t use the mentor for anything other than learning — no attempts to repurpose it as a general-purpose AI service.
• Don’t use the service for anything unlawful.

Your content

The code you write and the messages you send remain yours. You grant us the license needed to process them to run the service and to improve the engine, as described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting your account ends this license for your personal data.

Our content

The problem bank, the engine, the app, and the DSAlove name and marks belong to us. You get a personal, non-transferable license to use the service for your own learning. That’s it.

About the AI mentor

The mentor is powered by large language models. It can be wrong, incomplete, or misleading. DSAlove is a learning tool, not a guarantee: we make no promises about interview results, job offers, grades, or any other outcome.

Termination

You can stop using DSAlove and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim — which, for Cohort 1, is zero.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Karnataka, India.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app with a new effective date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
